2strixure are a music duo based in Berlin. Utilizing Aux-knobs to probe each other's thoughts, moving channel-faders to amplify and suppress neuro-audio-matter, muting and unmuting channels of audio transmissions, cutting frequencies with equalizers to sculpt textures, tuning sonic particles to an optimal wavelength to achieve harmony, 2strixure doesn't try to reinvent the mixer as an instrument. Rather, the mixer is used to rethink the process of collaboration. In real time, musical ideas flow unilaterally at the speed of sound.
2strixure has opted for a fast genre-processing metabolism, eschewing long, well-thought and meticulously constructed compositions for contingent, emergent sound improvisations. Error, failure, and ridiculousness are constant results of this practice.
